Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by your guide and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha or Moshi. Take the rest of the day to relax, settle in, and prepare for your upcoming adventure in Tanzania. Your journey into the heart of this incredible destination is about to begin!
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha in the morning, followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and striking baobab trees. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a full day of game viewing, spotting a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and numerous bird species. After a delicious picnic lunch within the park, continue exploring the diverse landscapes of Tarangire. In the late afternoon, you’ll head towards your accommodation in Mto wa Mbu or Karatu, where you’ll relax, enjoy dinner, and reflect on your first day of safari in the heart of Tanzania’s wildlife-rich region
After breakfast, you’ll depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, famous for its stunning crater views and unique ecosystems. On the way, you’ll stop at the Ngorongoro Crater Rim for panoramic vistas before continuing towards Serengeti National Park. Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is known for its endless savannahs and incredible wildlife. Arriving in time for lunch, you’ll enjoy an afternoon game drive, where you’ll have the chance to spot lions, cheetahs, zebras, and wildebeest across the park’s vast plains. As the day winds down, you’ll head to your Serengeti accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay, with the sounds of the African bush to lull you to sleep.
On Day 3, you’ll rise early for a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti, a prime time to witness predators in action and enjoy the stunning sunrise over the golden plains. After an exciting morning of wildlife sightings, you’ll return to camp for brunch before traveling back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey provides more opportunities to spot wildlife and take in the beautiful landscapes. Once you arrive, you’ll have the option to enjoy a cultural visit to a Maasai village or take a walk around the area. You’ll spend the night in a lodge or camp in Ngorongoro, with breathtaking views of the caldera or surrounding hills.
On your final day, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s most famous wildlife destinations. The crater, a natural wonder, is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino, lions, elephants, and buffalo. After a thrilling morning of game viewing inside the crater, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the caldera, surrounded by stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. In the afternoon, you’ll begin the drive back to Moshi or Arusha, where you’ll arrive in the evening, bringing your unforgettable 4-day safari to a close.
