Embark on an unforgettable adventure through Tanzania’s top wildlife destinations. Then, travel to the iconic Serengeti National Park, spending two days on game drives in one of the world’s most famous wildlife parks. Next, visit the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site, for incredible wildlife sightings in a unique volcanic caldera. On the final day, explore Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and abundant birdlife, before returning to Moshi or Arusha.
This itinerary provides a comprehensive safari experience, with opportunities to witness the “Big Five,” stunning landscapes, and Tanzania’s diverse ecosystems in just 5 days.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our team and transferred to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha. After check-in, you will relax and recover from your journey.
In the evening, you will have a pre-climb briefing with your mountain guide who will explain the Kilimanjaro trek, check your equipment, and answer any questions. This is an important day to prepare for your Mount Kilimanjaro adventure.
Overnight at hotel in Moshi, (LAMAMA HOTEL or THE MARIDADI HOTEL)
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha in the morning, followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and striking baobab trees. Upon arrival, you'll enjoy a full day of game viewing, spotting a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and numerous bird species. After a delicious picnic lunch within the park, continue exploring the diverse landscapes of Tarangire. In the late afternoon, you'll head towards your accommodation in Mto wa Mbu or Karatu, where you'll relax, enjoy dinner, and reflect on your first day of safari in the heart of Tanzania's wildlife-rich region
After breakfast, you'll depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, famous for its stunning crater views and unique ecosystems. On the way, you'll stop at the Ngorongoro Crater Rim for panoramic vistas before continuing towards Serengeti National Park. Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is known for its endless savannahs and incredible wildlife. Arriving in time for lunch, you’ll enjoy an afternoon game drive, where you’ll have the chance to spot lions, cheetahs, zebras, and wildebeest across the park's vast plains. As the day winds down, you’ll head to your Serengeti accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay, with the sounds of the African bush to lull you to sleep.
Today, you’ll enjoy a full day of game viewing in Serengeti National Park. Wake up early for a sunrise game drive to spot predators on the hunt and experience the savannah come alive with wildlife. You’ll spend the entire day exploring different areas of the Serengeti, such as the central Serengeti’s grasslands, the Seronera River, and the northern regions known for the great migration (if you’re visiting during the migration season). A picnic lunch will be provided in the park, and you’ll have ample opportunities for wildlife photography. In the late afternoon, return to your lodge for dinner and another overnight stay in the Serengeti. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included
You’ll head to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. After breakfast, drive to the crater rim, then descend to the crater floor for a game drive. This area is home to a dense population of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and the endangered black rhino. After a morning of exploring, enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater. In the afternoon, you’ll begin the drive back to Karatu where you’ll arrive in the evening for accomodation. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included
On your final day, head to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but remarkable park known for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife, including flamingos. Enjoy a morning game drive and marvel at the wildlife in the park, including elephants, hippos, baboons, and more. The park’s lush vegetation and varied landscapes make it a unique and beautiful stop. After a picnic lunch, continue your game drive and then begin your journey back to Moshi (or Arusha) in the late afternoon, where you’ll arrive in the evening, bringing your unforgettable safari experience to a close. This is the day to either head home or continue your adventure. You can depart Tanzania, or if you'd like, you can travel to Zanzibar for a relaxing beach holiday or explore another destination of your choice.
