Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by your guide and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Take the rest of the day to relax, settle in, and prepare for your upcoming adventure in Tanzania. Your journey into the heart of this incredible destination is about to begin!
Your 5 Days Tanzania Luxury safari journey begins after breakfast with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds and towering baobab trees. This park is a hidden gem, offering a quieter safari experience with plenty of game viewing opportunities, including lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and more. After an exciting game drive and a gourmet picnic lunch in the wild, you’ll head to Karatu, where you’ll check in to your luxury lodge, nestled on the lush highlands. Enjoy a relaxing evening with exquisite dining and stunning views.
After breakfast, begin your journey toward the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, driving through the stunning Ngorongoro Highlands. Along the way, enjoy scenic views and possible wildlife sightings as you cross into the endless plains of the Serengeti. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive, where you’ll start spotting wildlife immediately—lions, cheetahs, elephants, wildebeest, and more roam freely here. Finish the day with a magical sunset over the savannah.
Rise early for a full day of exploration in the Serengeti. Depending on the time of year, you may witness the Great Migration, one of the most spectacular wildlife events on Earth. Your guide will take you to the best spots for animal sightings, from predators like lions and leopards to herds of antelope and giraffes. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the bush, surrounded by nature, and continue your safari into the golden afternoon light before returning to your luxury camp.
After breakfast, enjoy one last game drive in the Serengeti before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five in a single day. Marvel at the breathtaking scenery and abundance of wildlife, including rhinos, lions, elephants, and hippos, within this massive volcanic caldera. In the late afternoon, ascend the crater and return to Karatu for the night.
On your final day, enjoy a relaxed breakfast before heading to the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park. This compact but diverse park is known for its tree-climbing lions, flamingo-filled lake, and dense groundwater forest full of monkeys and birds. After a half-day game drive and a lovely picnic lunch, begin your drive back to Arusha, where your safari adventure ends with a drop-off at your hotel or at Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
On the final day of your 5 Days Tanzania Luxury Safari, you can either return home or extend your trip. Head back to Tanzania’s airport or choose to relax in Zanzibar’s beautiful beaches or visit another destination of your choice.
