Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your personal safari guide will be waiting to greet you. From there, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Arusha, where you’ll receive a full safari briefing and have time to relax before your adventure begins.

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and begin the drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. This park is a hidden gem with rich wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, leopards, and over 500 species of birds. You’ll enjoy a full-day game drive through this incredible landscape before heading to your luxury lodge.

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a thrilling game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, the crater is a haven for the Big 5 and countless other species. Later in the afternoon, journey to Central Serengeti.

Drive Time: ~5–6 hours (with game drive en route)
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive north through the Serengeti, moving toward the Mara River region. This area is prime for witnessing the Great Migration between July and October. En route, keep an eye out for cheetahs, hyenas, and lions hunting in the open plains.

Drive Time: Flexible game drives
Spend the day exploring the northern Serengeti, particularly the areas around the Mara River. Morning and afternoon game drives will maximize your chances of witnessing these crossings.

Depending on your travel plans, enjoy a sunrise game drive or breakfast at camp before heading to the Seronera Airstrip for your scheduled flight, or begin the road journey back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport. Your unforgettable migration safari concludes with hearts full of wild memories.
