Mikumi National Park is home to a rich variety of wildlife, making it a prime safari destination. The park is well known for its lions, often seen resting on termite mounds or hunting across the open plains, alongside predators such as leopards and hyenas. Large herds of elephants roam freely across the savannah, offering unforgettable sightings, while elegant giraffes browse peacefully on treetops, adding beauty to the landscape. Zebras and wildebeest are abundant and commonly move in groups, creating dramatic and photogenic scenes across the plains.
