Day 1
Arrival Day
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be greeted by your guide and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha or Moshi. Take the rest of the day to relax, settle in, and prepare for your upcoming adventure in Tanzania. Your journey into the heart of this incredible destination is about to begin!
Day 2
Moshi – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you'll leave Hotel and head to Tarangire National Park for an exciting day of wildlife exploration. Known for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and abundant bird species, Tarangire offers a truly unique safari experience. Enjoy game drives through the park, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, and many other animals in their natural habitat. As the day winds down, you'll drive to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 3
Transit to Central Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you'll depart Tarangire early and enjoy a scenic drive through Tanzania's beautiful landscapes on the way to Central Serengeti. Arriving around midday, you'll jump straight into an afternoon game drive across the vast plains, where you'll spot wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, and zebras. As the sun begins to set, you'll head to your lodge or camp for check-in, followed by a relaxing dinner and time to reflect on the day's amazing safari experiences under the Serengeti sky.
Day 4
Central Serengeti to North Serengeti
Start your day with a morning game drive in the Central Serengeti's Seronera Valley, well-known for its resident big cats and rich variety of wildlife. After breakfast, begin your journey north toward the Northern Serengeti, spotting animals along the way as the scenery transforms from wide open plains to more rugged landscapes. This area is especially famous for the dramatic Mara River crossings during the Great Migration (July to October), where wildebeests and zebras face powerful currents and waiting predators. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route, then spend the afternoon exploring the Northern Serengeti, keeping an eye out for big cats and possible river crossings. Wrap up the day with a scenic sunset game drive before heading to your lodge for a restful overnight stay.
Day 5
Full Day in North Serengeti
Begin your day early with an exciting game drive along the Mara River in the Northern Serengeti, where you'll have a chance to witness the dramatic river crossings of the Great Migration (July to October). Watch as thousands of wildebeest and zebras gather at the water's edge, bravely facing crocodiles and other predators as they attempt the dangerous crossing. Enjoy a bush breakfast by the river, then spend the rest of the day following the herds, watching for more action and predator encounters. After a packed lunch in the wild, continue exploring various river viewpoints to increase your chances of seeing another crossing. End the day with a sunset game drive before returning to your lodge for a well-deserved rest.
Day 6
North Serengeti to Central Serengeti
Start your day with an early breakfast, then head out for a final morning game drive in the Northern Serengeti. Keep an eye out for wildlife like lions, elephants, and, if the migration is still active, you might catch one last dramatic river crossing. After the game drive, begin your journey south toward the Central Serengeti, enjoying a scenic 3–4 hour drive through breathtaking landscapes. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge in the evening. Settle in, relax, and get ready for the adventures of the following day.
Day 7
Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast in Central Serengeti, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, arriving by late morning. Upon arrival, descend into the crater for a thrilling game drive in one of Africa's most wildlife-rich areas. Explore the crater floor, home to lions, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, and the rare black rhino, as well as stunning scenery of lakes and open plains. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater surrounded by nature. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and head to your lodge on the crater rim for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Airport
After enjoying breakfast at your lodge in Ngorongoro, you'll begin your journey to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). The drive takes you through Tanzania's picturesque highlands and local villages, offering one last look at the country's natural beauty. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time to stop for lunch or browse local shops for souvenirs in Arusha. Arrive at the airport in time for your departure, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure in Tanzania. Wishing you safe and pleasant travels!
