Why Kilimanjaro
Mount Kilimanjaro is the world's tallest free-standing mountain β a majestic snow-capped giant rising from the Tanzanian savannah. Climbing Kilimanjaro is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that requires no technical mountaineering skills, just determination, proper preparation, and the support of an experienced team.
We provide everything you need: professional mountain guides, porters, cooks, quality camping equipment, nutritious meals, and thorough safety protocols. Our guides have summited hundreds of times and know the mountain intimately β from its weather patterns to the best acclimatization strategies.
Choose Your Path
Each route offers a unique experience. Choose the one that matches your adventure style.
The most scenic route with excellent acclimatization and high success rates. Offers diverse landscapes from rainforest to glaciers with fewer crowds.
Known as the "Whisky Route" β dramatic and challenging with stunning views. Popular for its diverse terrain and adventure feel.
The classic "Coca-Cola Route" β hut accommodation and gentler gradients. Best for beginners or those wanting more comfort.
The northern approach β quieter trails with excellent wildlife viewing. Dry and sunny with panoramic views of the plains.
The most direct and steepest route to the summit. Short and intense β best for experienced hikers seeking a serious challenge.
The longest route circling the mountain's northern flank. Excellent acclimatization with remote, pristine wilderness and stunning panoramic views.
The classic descent route used by most climbers. Lush rainforest trail with abundant wildlife β primarily used for going down after summiting.
The Climb
Lush green foothills with banana and coffee farms, small villages, and rich volcanic soil.
Dense, misty rainforest teeming with colobus monkeys, birds, and giant ferns. The air is humid and cool.
Giant lobelias and groundsels dot the landscape. Temperatures drop significantly and the air thins.
Barren, rocky terrain with little vegetation. Days are hot and sunny; nights plunge well below freezing.
Glaciers, ice fields, and breathtaking views. Temperatures can drop to -20Β°C at Uhuru Peak.
What to Expect
Reach Uhuru Peak at dawn and watch the sun rise over the African continent from the rooftop of Africa.
Walk from tropical rainforest through alpine desert to arctic ice β all in a single trek.
Our guides, porters, and cooks ensure your safety, comfort, and success every step of the way.
All Inclusive
Certified, experienced mountain guides with hundreds of summits. Maximum 2 clients per guide.
Four-season tents, sleeping bags rated to -10Β°C, sleeping pads, and all camping gear provided.

All Kilimanjaro National Park fees, camping permits, and rescue fees are included in your package.
Return transfers from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha to the mountain trailhead and back.
Unlimited purified drinking water throughout the climb. Stay hydrated at every altitude.
When to Go
Dry season β best weather, clear skies, and highest success rates. Peak season with more climbers.
Warm and dry with excellent visibility. Fewer crowds and often lower prices. Great for photography.
Long rains β trails can be wet and muddy. Not recommended for most climbers. Lower prices available.
Get Ready
Start training at least 2-3 months before your climb. Focus on cardio (hiking, running, cycling) and leg strength. Walk uphill with a backpack to simulate the climb.
Layered clothing for all weather conditions, sturdy hiking boots, waterproof jacket, warm hat and gloves, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a daypack. We provide a detailed packing list upon booking.
Consult your doctor before climbing. We carry emergency oxygen, first aid kits, and satellite phones on every climb. Our guides are trained in high-altitude first aid.
Kilimanjaro is as much a mental challenge as a physical one. Stay positive, listen to your body, and trust your guides. The "pole pole" (slowly slowly) approach is key to success.
