Do I need to be a professional photographer?+

Not at all. Our photography safaris are suitable for all levels — from beginners to professionals. Our guides adapt to your skill level and help you improve regardless of where you are in your photography journey.

What camera gear should I bring?+

We recommend a DSLR or mirrorless camera with a telephoto lens (100-400mm or 200-600mm) for wildlife, and a wide-angle lens (16-35mm) for landscapes. We provide bean bags for stability in the vehicle. Bring plenty of batteries and memory cards.

Can I use a tripod during game drives?+

Tripods are not practical during game drives due to space constraints. We provide bean bags that rest on the vehicle frame for stable shots. Tripods can be used at camp or during walking safaris where permitted.

What is the best time for photography in Tanzania?+

June–October (dry season) offers the best conditions: clear skies, golden light, and concentrated wildlife around water sources. The green season (November–May) offers dramatic skies, fewer tourists, and baby animals — great for creative photography.

Do you offer post-processing workshops?+

Yes, our extended safaris include optional evening workshops on photo editing (Lightroom/Photoshop), composition review, and tips for improving your wildlife photography. These sessions are informal and tailored to the group's interests.

Can I bring a drone?+

Drones are strictly prohibited in all Tanzanian national parks and conservation areas. Flying a drone can result in fines, confiscation, or even imprisonment. We recommend leaving drones at home.
