Overview
Tarangire National Park is the sixth-largest national park in Tanzania, covering 2,850 square kilometers. The park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it and is the primary source of fresh water for wildlife in the area. During the dry season, the river attracts thousands of animals including elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and various antelope species.
