5 Days Tanzania Northern Luxury Safari

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be greeted by your professional safari guide and transferred to your luxury lodge in Arusha. The lodge is set among beautiful gardens with views of Mount Meru. Settle into your elegant suite and relax after your journey. In the evening, meet your guide for a safari briefing and dinner at the lodge's restaurant.

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, known as the 'Elephant Kingdom.' The park is famous for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enter the park and begin your game drive through the diverse landscapes. Search for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and over 550 bird species. Your guide will take you to prime viewing areas along the Tarangire River. Arrive at your luxury camp where your tent offers stunning views of the surrounding wilderness.

Depart early for the legendary Serengeti National Park, driving through the stunning Ngorongoro Highlands. Stop at a scenic viewpoint for photographs before descending to the vast Serengeti plains. The endless grasslands stretching to the horizon are one of Africa's most iconic landscapes. Begin your first game drive in the central Seronera area, famous for its big cat populations. Search for lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Arrive at your luxury Serengeti lodge where your suite offers stunning views of the plains.

After an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at the Olduvai Gorge, where the Leakeys discovered some of the oldest human fossils. Continue to the crater rim and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater floor is home to over 25,000 animals including the rare black rhino, large lion prides, elephants, and flamingos on the soda lake. Enjoy a spectacular game drive in this natural amphitheater before returning to your luxury lodge on the crater rim.

Rise early for a final descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. The morning light offers excellent photography opportunities as animals are active in the cool air. Spend the morning searching for any species you may have missed. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool picnic site before ascending the crater rim. Begin the scenic drive back to Arusha, arriving in time for last-minute shopping before transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
